Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society. Their dedication and hard work make it possible to offer the programs and exhibits our community treasures. There are countless ways to get involved, and every contribution makes a difference.

You can assist with genealogical research, help design engaging exhibits, welcome visitors and groups, or apply your expertise in collection documentation and preservation. If you enjoy writing, you can contribute articles to our newsletter or craft grant applications. Those with a knack for organization can help promote guest speakers, while hands-on individuals can support building maintenance.
